How to build a "watchlist" of companies in NewsFlow.

In this article, you will learn how to build a list of “favorite” companies that you can reuse and monitor over time in the “Company view” of the NewsFlow module.

The “watchlist” is the equivalent of the “peer list” in the Benchmark and Materiality modules.

In order to build a watchlist of companies in NewsFlow, follow these steps:

  • Go to the NewsFlow module.
  • On the left-hand side of the filters area, type the names of the desired companies in the “Add companies” box. If you cannot find a company that you are looking for, you might find it helpful to look up the company online to see if it’s referred to by another name. If you still can’t find it, the company might not be tracked in our NewsFlow database.
  • Once you have added all the companies you want to track, click on “Save as watchlist.”
  • Enter a name for your watchlist and click on “Save.”

When you come back to this tab, you will be able to reuse this watchlist instead of having to retype the names of all the companies.

Go to “How to manage my "watchlists" in NewsFlow” for more details about editing your watchlists
